On the threshold of its 18th edition, the Best Event Awards is rightly recognised as the main international industry honour, the best chance for event agencies to shine on the world’s stage of events and live communication.
Over 350 agencies from 37 countries have competed to seize the renowned Golden Elephant awards since 2006. Obviously, it’s not just about fame and glory. It’s also about brand awareness and new business opportunities.
Once again, we have drawn up a Bea World Hall of Fame composed of the most awarded event agencies. The ranking rewards agencies for their creativity, innovative approach, strategic thinking and impact, but it recognises their loyalty over the years as well. It is based on the total sum of points obtained for each prize won since since the contest became global in 2017 and shows only the agencies still in activity.
Xsaga, from The Netherlands, is confirmed as the most awarded event agency since the trophy turned from European to global. “At XSAGA, we always have the ambition to create the perfect experience for every client, time after time. It gives us extra energy to be part of the Bea World family and a great sense of pride to be one of the best 30 agencies in the world,” says Pieter Claassen, Production Director and Partner at XSAGA.
In 2nd place, climbing a full six positions from last year, is The Oval Office, from Belgium/France. Germany’s DO IT! also climbs an impressive five positions, now ranking 4th. Italy’s Balich Wonder Studio and Filmmaster Events drop a few places, but rank 3rd and 5th respectively.
Among other agencies rising in the ranking, the most significant progress is made by the Italian agency ninetynine, winner of the Grand Prix award, moving from 42nd to 6th place. “We are still a bit stunned. We could not have imagined such success, although we knew we had an amazing year. There is certainly a feeling of gratitude: to our clients for believing in us, to suppliers for following us in our dreams, and to the team for never giving up. The projects that have brought us success are very different from each other, but they are all linked by the same factor: a powerful interconnection between creativity and objectives. Very high stakes in terms of reputation and business. And these are the projects in which Ninetynine has always excelled.” Says Simone Mazzarelli, CEO and Founder of ninetynine.
Onliveline from Germany also visibly improved its position, moving from 34th to 12th place. “We are incredibly proud to be called one of the TOP 30 internationally acclaimed agencies. Our focus on transformation dramaturgy, where we do strategic – meaningful and innovative – storytelling, as well as storytelling in VR, allows us to go beyond individual points of communication. Instead, we bring targeted storylines into a communication and transformation process.” says Petra Lammers, CEO @onliveline GmbH.
LUKA from Latvia achieved great results too, rising from 27th to 17th place: “The events organised by Luka Agency have been recognised as the best in the world for three consecutive years. That is not only confirmation of the titanic work behind each project but also of our creativity and ability to find extraordinary solutions even for common problems. It is no wonder that the belief that all unrealistic projects are ours has already become legendary in the world. Entering the TOP 30 best agencies acts as a drive for us in the future, the push to “jump without a parachute” in creating projects and finding unique solutions. The experience gained and the potential results outweigh the risk because, as they say, too much simplicity shows a lack of courage. We have had enough of it, as we have realised that the joy of life and excellent results come from our encounters with new experiences. It is like seeing the sun every day… still the same, but still completely different.” Inese Lukaševska, founder of LUKA.
Germany’s Insgluck also climbs two positions. “We’re among the world’s TOP 30 live communication agencies. In the all-time ranking (including all awards since 2006), we are the most awarded German agency and the TOP 2 in Europe. Not only does it reward the creativity of our team, but the trust of our customers as well. As a team, we always strive to create something special and new that stands out. This great achievement is a result of hard work that, on top of excellent creation, goes hand in hand with impeccable implementation. And this makes us incredibly proud!” Christian Poswa, CEO insglück
Regarding the all-time ranking, which comprises all the prizes won since the first European Best Event Awards in 2006, Filmmaster Events from Italy confirms itself as the most awarded event agency.
No changes compared to last year for the 2nd and 3rd places, occupied respectively by Insglück Gesellschaft für Markeninszenierung from Germany and Magic Garden from France. 4th place for XSAGA from The Netherlands and 5th for Auditoire from France.
“Bea World, considered by many as the Oscars of events, is an absolute benchmark for understanding the evolution of the event industry in terms of creativity, production quality, technological innovation, and results achieved,” says Salvatore Sagone, president of ADC Group and organiser of the Best Event Awards World. “That is why agencies from more than 30 countries on five continents participate each year. Being among the top 30 agencies in the world means earning an unparalleled reputation with local and international clients. And for the next edition, the 18th, we have big surprises in store.”
